APRIL IS NATIONAL CAR CARE MONTH!

April is National Car Care Month, which means it’s time to think about proper preventative maintenance for your vehicle. April is the perfect time to get your vehicle in shape for Spring and Summer driving and road trips. The Car Care Council reminds car owners during April not to ignore issues with your vehicle and to have your car inspected before going on any road trips or long drives.

Spring brings lots of rain,  so it is important to check your vehicle’s tires, brakes and windshield wipers to ensure that your car is prepared for the rainy weather. Bald tires can cause your vehicle to lose traction on the road in wet weather conditions. Getting stuck in rainy weather with windshield wipers that aren’t working properly can be extremely dangerous. Windshield wipers need to be replaced at least once a year, and April is a great month to do so.
